Geography
Hai Duong is on the Red River Delta. It borders with Bac Ninh, Bac Giang provinces on the north, Haiphong, Quang Ninh provinces on the east, Hung Yen Province on the west, Thai Binh Province on the south. The network of rivers includes Thai Binh, Rang, Kinh Thay, and Dao rivers' giving good condition for agriculture and water transportation.

Chi Lang Nam Stork Village
Stork village in Chi Lang Nam Commune, Thanh Mien District, 25 km from Hai Duong is noted for numerous genera of storks. The village boasts a small island that lies in the middle of a lake. It is home to thousands of storks, including white, black, fiery stocks, herons and egrets. In addition, there are night herons and precious species of birds, such as pelican, teal also reside in this island.

Kinh Chu An Phu Site
To get to this famous area from Ha Noi, follow National Highway 5 over Phu Luong Bridge and Pha Thai Wharf. Situated in the Duong Nham Mountains, Kinh Chu An Phu looks like a giant rock-garden among the vast waves of rice fields in the Kinh Thay valley. In the Duong Nham Mountains there are many peculiar caverns such as Kinh Chu, Vang, Luon, and Trau
The temple is situated on Thien Bong Mountain in An Lac Commune, Chi Linh District, 80km from Ha Noi. The temple is dedicated to Vuong Due Minh, a general of King Le Hoan (10th century). Climbing more than 100 steps covered with moss, visitors will see stone elephants and horses on the ground of the temple.
Located in Cong Hoa Commune, Chi Linh District, approximately 80km from Ha Noi and 5km from Con Son, Kiep Bac is in fact the junction of Van Yen (Kiep Village) and Duoc Son (Bac Village). The Con Son Tourist Site is located in Cong Hoa Commune, about 70km from Ha Noi, between the two mountain ranges of Phuong Hoang and Ky Lan. The highlights of this site are the pagoda, a tower and well-known remains pertaining to national history, as well as the natural beauty of the mountainous landscape, pine forest and stream.
